Last week, I started a new job at SCS Interiors as the Director of HR & Marketing. I’m excited for this adventure and looking forward to a new challenge. I’ll be training for a few days this month, going on maternity leave, and then back in March!
As I wrap up my contract with NORTHFORCE, I am so thankful for all the connections I’ve made and experiences I’ve had working on this project. Some highlights include the many public speaking opportunities (MAEDC, EDAM, ReGen ++), supervising a CSS student who created the SBT Summit, the overall work of breaking down barriers and creating change, and my personal favorite — overseeing the Mentor Connection program that has connected over 300 students and business professionals in the last three years.
I’ve had the pleasure to meet and get to know so many incredible individuals that are interested in living and working here in the Northland — my advice is to stay #NorthByChoice!
